Dracaena Deremensis "Costaricana" (Costa Rica Cane)
This plant has an incredible journey. First, the canes are grown in the lush hills of Costa Rica. Then, they are shipped in a container to Southern Florida, where they root and grow under a gorgeous shade home. Then, once the leaves have grown out, they are shipped north to our greenhouse.
The Costa Rica cane features glossy, deep green foliage in a tall, slim profile. Place next to a couch or any corner that needs softening. Thrives in rooms with indirect light.

With Mission Plants, our houseplants are grown and cared for in our greenhouses by plant experts until the day we ship them to you. Why independent farms?
Smaller, independent farms take quality control very seriously. It's often the biggest difference between them and the larger growers that supply to big box stores and online retailers.
In addition to that quality control, we manually inspect every plant before it leaves our greenhouse. We stand by our products with joy, because we love each and every plant!
What material are your pots made of?
Our baskets are sustainably made from a sea grass that constantly grows along the shores of Vietnam. This work of art is a gorgeous, sustainable option for plants, magazines, toys and more! Did we mention they smell incredible?
Why seagrass baskets?
Seagrass is easily the most sustainable material for containers. Other companies claim their planters are up to 80% recycled plastic, but how do they know?
We have the the exact location of the family business that makes these baskets, and their fair-wage policy, and we know the employees that make the baskets. We are thrilled and proud to offer these ethically made products to you.
